I hope everyone is taking cover from this bad flu that’s going around. I know at ARCHTOP STUDIOS we are being carful to make sure that our customers are not sick. My self I had it bad for one week and it took another two weeks to get over it. Been busy in the studio hooking up some on the analog processing gear so that I have processing gear dedicated to certain tracks. Makes it faster while mixing so customer is not paying for me to hook up processing gear. Like I’ve mentioned before we can go 95% analog. We have great rates for the beginner to seasoned player or players. If you just want to come by and take a boo before you make your decisions that works for you as far as recording goes that’s absolutely fine drop by or give us a call or give us an email. Well , I hope everyone had a great Christmas and brought in the New Year that suited them. I wish everyone to have a great year in 2026. We at ARCHTOP STUDIOS are chugging along with the New Neve 8424 console. Slowly but surely all of the out board analog processing gear is getting hooked up to dedicated tracks on the console via patch bays. It’s a lot of wiring. So the goal here at the studio is to be able to record and mix everything at 95% analog. So that coveted tone that so many artists love , well we have that here. Plus we have the option of using plug-in’s. We have at least 160 of those at our finger tips. We also have a dedicated live room to record clients in and that room is 12 X 24. The live room and the tracking room where all the gear is in, both rooms are heavily sound treated with absorbtion and defusion. If anyone would like to drop by and take a boo you are very welcome to do so. So we do CD’s and we do one song if that’s all you want recorded. I try to do my best at keeping it affordable for all the artists in Atlantic Canada. Have a great day..
